Moonshell Compatibility List

Moonshell is a homebrew application for the Nintendo DS, which acts as a Mediaplayer and also has a few little extras like a file browser. The fun thing is that it also supports several audio formats, which is what this compatibility list is about.
Streaming Formats
Nintendo DS running Moonshell
- MP3 / OGG / WMA / AAC
these are all working fine as far as I have tested them.
Module Formats
- MOD / XM
MOD Files work fine
XM Files work fine
Chiptune Formats
- SPC
SPC Files work fine
RSN Files are not supported
- MDX
MDX Files work fine
PCM Samples are not supported
- GBS
GBS Files work fine
- HES
HES Files work fine
M3U Playlists are not supported
- NSF
NSF Files work fine
DPCM Samples works fine
FME-7 expansion chip works fine
MMC5 expansion chip is not supported
Namco 106 expansion chip works fine
VRC6 expansion chip works fine
VRC7 expansion chip is not supported
Other
- MIDI
MIDI Files essentially work fine, although Moonshell comes with a very limited sound font (aka only a few instruments). This can be expanded when you grab a larger sound font available from the moonshell site, which again appears to be GM Compatible.
