Playstation SPU2

The SPU2 (Sound Processing Unit 2) was made by Sony and is used inside the Sony Playstation 2 aswell as several Arcade Boards. Its the follow-up to the Playstation SPU which was working inside the first PSX and its corresponding Arcade Hardware.

PSF2
- PSF2 is a format for ripped and sequenced music from the Playstation 2. Soundbanks may be stored inside .psflib files, while the single songs would be inside .minipsf files then. PSF2 Files can be played via Highly Experimental, which is a Plugin available for Winamp 2/3/5, XMMS and Foobar.

- CD-DA can be ripped into various Streaming Formats like flac/wav/mp3 as usual.
